My passion for health and fitness began at a young age.  Growing up in upstate New York my weekdays were filled with lacrosse and field hockey while my weekends were spent kayaking, skiing and running.  My passion for running continued into my adult life however I quickly realized that I needed to add in some strength and stability work to prevent injuries.  I tried a barre class and instantly knew that it was the perfect complement to my running.  The emphasis on proper alignment and core stability enhanced my running and the variety of exercises and supportive class environment kept me coming back.  I was instantly hooked!

As a teacher I aim to provide my students with a challenging and fun experience that helps them reach their individual goals.  My hope is that every student leaves each class feeling stronger and healthier than they did when they entered. Outside of the barre studio I am in the process of studying to be a family nurse practitioner. When not teaching or studying I enjoy spending time with my very supportive and loving husband and family.
