Julie grew up at the ballet barre. She was a senior member of a southeast regional ballet company for 10 years, but paused her training when she enrolled at Cornell University. At Cornell, she discovered her love of group fitness and was inspired to become a certified Spinning and Pilates instructor. During her first barre class as a student, her love of ballet, Pilates, and a good challenge were met and she has been hooked since.

Julie is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her love of barre, her knowledge of body alignment, and her passion for healthy and balanced living at Focus Barre and Yoga. Her goal is for every student to leave her class feeling stronger, taller, and more confident.
